Text Box: Zach Crabtree, son of Russell and Tracy Crabtree of Athens OH, and Kara Oberholzer, daughter of Jack and Sharron Fulton of Athens OH, received the American FFA Degree at the 83rd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Zach and Kara both attended Alexander High School and was very active in the Alexander FFA Chapter. The American Degree is the highest degree awarded by the National FFA Organizations and recognizes Zach and Kara’s demonstrated leadership abilities and outstanding achievements in agriculture business, production, processing and service programs. Less than one in 154 members advance their degrees to an American degree past their local and state FFA Chapters.
